Tony Contratto writes books, this much we know. Tony is also a small business owner and nonprofit director. Tony’s philosophy is that the most gripping and immersive tales happen in our imagination. In the spirit of that ideology, Tony spent several years formulating the story of his first novel within his head, before ever putting the proverbial pen to paper. Originally from Southern California, Tony now resides in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Tony Contratto writes novels geared toward both adult and YA audiences. He has also published a short poetry collection under the pseudonym Hayden Jowell.
In addition to writing, Tony currently serves as the Executive Director for the nonprofit Havasu Helping Girls and is the owner of Styles AZ (and Hensley de Vere Press).
Tony’s first foray into writing the fantasy genre was as a teenager. Working with a friend, the two co-wrote a series of plays/musicals including “The Rhapisiatic Apocalypse” and “Unite.”
Tony grew up and attended college in Southern California, residing at times in the cities of Fullerton, Newport Beach, Chino, Rancho Cucamonga, Hesperia, and Apple Valley. He now lives in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
