Working as the Executive Director of Havasu Helping Girls has been a rewarding and challenging experience. I am proud of all the accomplishments that we have made over the past few years… especially those in the last year.
In the 2022/2023 operating years, Havasu Helping Girls has strengthened its programs by:
- Distributing over 600 Tween & Teen Period Starter Kits.
- Partnering with 8 local schools in Lake Havasu to provide free period supplies at each school, as well as, free period starter kits to be handed out to every 5th grade female student during the annual puberty class.
- Became an Allied Program with the Alliance for Period Supplies.
